40 Ford gas engine pistons and heads curing in oven

Piston and Heads before processing.

Carbon removal on used parts is part of the process before ceramic coating.
Often parts are burned off to fully "Cook Out" solvents and oils before the Aluminum Oxide prep.

Piston and Heads with CBC2 coating thermal barrier on top and skirts prepped for TLML Molybdenum coating.

Coating the skirts with TLML is an additional curing process.

40 Ford heads and steel pistons coated to bring them into the world of Space Age performance technology.
The coating on the crown will increase Horse Power, engine life, reduce fuel consumption and produce less waste gasses.
The TLML coating on the skirts will reduce friction by as much as 20%, reduce the temperature of the piston and the coating will hold more lubricant than an uncoated skirt.
